MUSKINGUM WATERSHED CONSERVANCY DISTRICT

Spanning five counties and portions of 22 others, this watershed covers more than 8,000 square miles and includes the area that drains into the Muskingum River and its tributaries. It includes a system of 16 dams and reservoirs that provide flood reduction and water conservation benefits for the property owners and residents of the region. It covers approximately 20 percent of the State of Ohio. Search this page to find local lakes and rivers to explore. Also, this page will have information regarding camping and hiking sites and information about water levels and weather conditions.
